Step 5: You should disable security apps and programs like Antivirus and Firewall on your Android device as they may interrupt the procedure.

Download Odin, CWM Recovery Image and Root Package from here to your computer. Install Odin onto your computer and then extract the other two downloaded files into separate folders onto your desktop.

How to Root T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3 N900T and Install CWM Recovery:

Step 1: Reboot your phone so as to enter it in Download Mode. To do so, press and hold the Volume Down + Home + Power buttons together until the screen turns ON.

Step 2: Now, open Odin and then connect your phone to the PC using the original USB cable i.e. with the cable that came with it.

Step 3: On successful recognition of your device by Odin, the ID: COM section in it will turn Yellow.

Step 4: Now, click on “PDA” button and then choose the “.tar.md5” file from the folder where you’ve extracted the “Recovery Image” file.

Step 5: You need to ensure that the option of “Re-Partition” and “F. Reset Time” have been unchecked in Odin.

Step 6: Now, click on “Start” to begin the flashing process of the “Recovery Image”.

Step 7: As soon as the installation process has completed, you’ll get a pass message in Odin.

Step 8: Now, reboot your device and then proceed with the flashing of “Root Package”, which will give you root access of your Android device.

Step 9: First of all, enter your device into Download Mode. To do so, press and hold the Volume Down + Home + Power buttons together until the screen turns ON.

Step 10: Now, open Odin and then connect your device to the PC with the original USB cable.

Step 11: As soon as, the ID: COM section in Odin turns Yellow, click on “PDA” button and then choose the “.tar.md5” from the folder where you’ve extracted the “Root Package”.

Step 12: Now, click on “Start” to begin the flashing of the root package.

Step 13: The flashing procedure will complete in few minutes, just reboot your device after it.
