Wondering what is Dual Recovery? How can we have two recoveries in an Android phone together? All the questions like these will be answered here. First of all, dual recovery means both the famous recovery images i.e. TWRP and CWM can be installed onto your Sony Xperia Z1. Many of the people like CWM and similarly many are attracted by TWRP, since CWM was the first recovery that is the reason many consider it as a reliable one. In CWM recovery, you have to use the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons to navigate and Power button to confirm but in TWRP, it is totally touch based, just select the option you want and there you go.
Geek developers seeing the demand of both recoveries, CWM and TWRP planned to come up with this Idea, i.e. the option of installing both recoveries together in a single device. The present ideas are of the famous XDA developer’s krabappel, DooMLoRD and [NUT].
