T-Mobile Galaxy Note SGH-T879 was recently rooted and we published a tutorial about how to root and install CWM recovery. This time we have come up with a new Tutorial that can root T-Mobile Galaxy Note on latest firmware. The recent ICS based firmware update for T-Mobile SG Note unrooted the device and thus there is a new way to get the root and install TWRP recovery. TWRP is a touch based recovery and sometimes preferred over ClockWorkMod. We have also detailed the procedure to install TWRP recovery on Galaxy Note.
- Make sure that you have downloaded and install Kies on your Computer which is required to install necessary drivers on your device. Click here for Kies Software.
- We request you to create the backup of your device’s Data as you may lose all your precious information during the process of installation. Sometime, if the process goes wrong then you may have to flash a stock firmware that will erase all data.
- This process works well on AT&T, T-Mobile, Rogers, Telus, Bell LTE Galaxy Note models. Please do not use it on International Galaxy Note N7000.
