Step by Step guide to Root your Samsung Galaxy Y:

Step1. First copy the above downloaded Rooting update.zip file to your device internal SD card slot.

Step2. Now switch off your device so as to enter in Download Mode. Download Mode in Samsung Galaxy can be entered by pressing power, volume up, home buttons together.

Step3. Select update.zipfile from SDCard, select the file and install it.

Step4. After the installing process in complete, reboot your phone.

Step5. Now, DownloadBusybox installer .APK files from above link and install it.

Step3. Select update.zip file from SDCard, select the file and “Apply Update from SD card”
