Step 5: If you are going to install Custom ROM then it’s better to create a full Nandroid Backup of your device. You can also use Custom recovery to create Nandroid backup.
Step 6: We would also suggest disabling security apps and programs like Antivirus and Firewall on your Android device as it may interrupt the procedure.

Download ClockworkMod Recovery from here to your computer. Extract the downloaded file into a folder onto your desktop. Place the “recovery.img” file to the root directory of your device’s SD card. Root Galaxy W using this procedure.
Procedure to Install Clockworkmod Recovery on Samsung Galaxy W I8150:
Step 1: First of all, go to Google Play Store and install Android Terminal Emulator.
Step 2: Now, open the Android Terminal Emulator app.
Step 3: Next, type “su” and press on from the virtual keyboard, allow superuser access when asked for.
Step 4: Further, type the command that follows and then press enter:
dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13
Step 5: As soon as the commands have been implemented, exit the Android Terminal Emulator app.
