Galaxy SII SGH-I727 Skyrocket is equipped with latest LTE 4G connectivity, Dual core 1.5GHz Scorpion processor paired with Adreno 220 GPU and mounted on Snapdragon chipset makes it one of the most powerful even now. This phone can easily handle Jelly Bean but yet there is no Official announcement from Samsung or AT&T. Skyrocket got the latest ICS firmware update in April, Jelly Bean will not be coming before November 2012. For those who still want to try Jelly Bean can root their device and install CyanogenMod 10 custom ROM. Thanks to Teamchopsticks who are working to create a full working stable CM10 Jelly Bean release for AT&T SII Skyrocket. But right now, only alpha release is available that has lots of bugs.

Paranoid Skyrocket Jelly Bean ROM: Paranoid are well known ROM makers now, after their credible work for creating Paranoid ROMs for Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Note, Galaxy SIII and HTC One X. Paranoid ROM is still in beta edition but the CyanogenMod based ROM is stable and has very minor bugs. Right now, you can get a CM9 based stable version or CyanogenMod 10 Jelly Bean based beta ROM. Paranoid ROM are well build by developers, it features a special TabletUI that is quite cool on Phones with big screen.
Alien ICS ROM: Alien ROM is the best ROM in term of speed, you will definitely experience a boost in your experience. Based on Official AT&T UCLE3 4.0.4 ICS update this is a rock stable ROM. Developers have zipaligned, deodexed and rooted the ROM. They have also added various Speed and memory tweaks. You will get the latest 15 toggle quick panel, customized TouchWiz launcher for butter smooth experience. we loved this ROM due to its fluid performance, this ROM easily strikes 7K+ on Antutu Benchmark test for performance.
Embryo ROM for SGSII Skyrocket: Embryo is a base ROM biased on UCLF5 Android ICS update. This ROM has many tweaks and custom functions like you can take screenshots using Power button + Home button, latest AOSP browser, SGS 3 Voice, clock and weather apps. You will get the Samsung Galaxy SIII TouchWiz UX launcher that will be working very smooth due to performance tuning and hardware accereleration. You will get the 15 toggle quick panel settings, CRT off screen animation, Lockscreen picket, Transparent lockscreen etc. This ROM is stable and may not be as fast like Alien ROM but you will surely enjoy the SGS III Stuff bundled with it.
MIUI ROM for SGS2 skyrocket: MIUI ROM are most preferred after CyanogenMod ROMs. This is Official MIUI ROM right now at version 4 2.6.8 based on Android ICS 4.0.4. There is whole MIUI Toolbox included for settings and customizations. Most of the bugs has been fixed ad there are many Customizable themes available for MIUI ROM. If you want to make your phone eyecandy then this ROM will suit best to your requirement. The ROM is stable but still there may be few minor glitches.
SkyICS Project Margarine: The ROM is simple based on AT&T UCLF6 Android ICS 4.0.4 IceCream sandwich update. The ROM is pre-rooted and rock stable. The main feature of this ROM is variety of addons and enhancements available. You can get various lockscreens, boot animations, themes, battery optimization and performance settings. Working on modded SKY ICS kernel this ROM provides stable environment and fluid performance.
Recently, we posted about Android 4.1 CM10 alpha build for SGS2 Skyrocket. It is a experimental build and has lots of bugs. We also came to know that there are few developers that are trying to create a Paranoid Jelly Bean Port for SGS2 Skyrocket, Paranoid is one of the well known developers and they have some good ROMs. It will take some time for devs to create a fully working stable Jelly Bean firmware.
